… get your kicks on Route 66 !
Taberna’s Excursion – Part 2:
Just a few kilometres from the Hollywood venues on the N340a is the Route66 bar.
It all looks pretty cool – that’s how I imagine the locations along the most famous street in America.
Those who arrive here start with American toast – in the Spanish desert of Tabernas.
The pot of coffee Americano is surprisingly good and cheap.
When choosing the food, you can order the Route66 variant – with a lot of bacon.
In the afternoon (Saturday & Sunday) there is good live music (16:00-19:00 non-stop) – with over 100 outdoor seats.
Nice atmosphere – Cool bikers come here from all over Spain on weekends.
At the end of the day, you can have a good dinner in the restaurant.
Paying attention to the “figure” now somehow doesn’t make sense anymore.
Country songs sound from the speakers – you can stand it quite well here.
A chic change from the beach and deckchairs.
PS: For bikers there is a race track in the immediate vicinity.
