… get your kicks on Route 66 !

Taberna’s trip – part 2:

Just a few kilometers from the Hollywood locations on the N340a is the Route66 bar.

It all looks pretty cool – that’s how I imagine the locations along America’s most famous road.

Anyone arriving here starts with an American breakfast – in the Spanish desert of Tabernas.

The pot of coffee Americano is surprisingly good for €1.25.

When choosing your meal, you can always order the Route66 version – with plenty of bacon.

In the afternoon (Saturday & Sunday) there is good live music (16:00-19:00 non-stop) – with over 100 outdoor seats.

Nice atmosphere – Cool bikers come here from all over Spain at the weekend.

At the end of the day, you can have a good dinner in a restaurant.

Now it doesn’t make sense to pay attention to your “figure”.

The ribs & the leg of lamb? Simply delicious!

In the restaurant there are pool tables, a table soccer table (table football) – country songs play from the loudspeakers – it’s a great place to spend time.

A chic change from the beach and deckchairs.

PS: For bikers there is a race track in the immediate vicinity.
