Three goals in one go …
… the witches’ village, the chocolate village & the ham village! We recommend a tour with three stops in the Sierra Nevada Nature Park.
From Torrox-Costa there & back = 215 km! For a day trip, this is a stage that you can easily manage.
There are three interesting places on the route:
Soportujar, Spain (the witches’ village)
Pampaneira, Granada, España (the chocolate village)
Trevelez (The hamlet)
Let’s start with Soportujar:
The municipality of Soportujar is located on the southern slope of the Sierra Nevada Natural Park. It has only 268 inhabitants.
People are moving closer and closer to the coast or to the big cities.
Someone has come up with something original and turned the village into a “witches’ village” – crazy!
How do you turn an idea into a tourist masterpiece?
Here are the pictures of Soportujar – and don’t worry – I didn’t photograph everything – there is much more to see there.
The witches’ village – worth seeing – not only for children.
So, that was part 1 of our trip – please also take a look at the article on Trevelez & Pampaneira.
Oh, before I forget:
The entire route has about as many tight bends and hairpin bends as there are traffic circles in Andalusia.
