How does the trick work with the seagull “Schiss”?

In advance: The trick is as old as tourists stroll along the beach promenade.

But a recent case in Torrox shows – it still works & all over the world!

The pickpockets mainly choose older people, if possible with a walking stick, walker – people who move only slowly.

So they are sure that you can’t run after them.

Where & how is this trick mainly used?

On the beach promenades, in the area of showers or public toilets.

People who walk slowly do not notice it and it does not bother them that they are “overtaken” by other people.

The pickpocket comes up from behind and sprays a disgusting, dirty liquid on the back of the jacket with a small (noiseless) water syringe.

This person does not notice anything.

Then – he speaks to his “victim” and points to the back – points up – points to the seagulls that are flying around and offers help very quickly.

Coincidentally, right where there is a sink and a faucet.

A seagull on your back is an unpleasant thing and you are immediately happy that the embarrassing mishap of the bird is immediately removed.

In most cases, you have to bend over. The pickpocket turns the body of his victim so that he does not notice anything.

The vacationer is just excited and still complains about the “stupid cattle”.

It is also not noticeable that the friendly helper happens to have a cloth ready with which he wants to repair the damage.

By vigorously rubbing and tugging on the victim’s body, the crook now has enough time to carry out his transfer of ownership unnoticed.

They thank each other politely – wave to each other – and everyone is relieved. One more – the other less!

The fact that the friendly helper disappears in the other direction is also not noticeable.

They immediately try to disappear from the victim’s field of vision …

… so watch out!

PS: This article is based on an incident in mid-December

in Torrox- Costa on the promenade:

at the public toilets / showers in the sports area in front of the market square.

Fortunately, it ended lightly, but only – because the victim wanted to thank him with a 10,-€ tip.

That’s why he reached for the wallet that no longer existed.

Loud shouting & screaming has caused the perpetrator to show the victim that the wallet is under the sink and thus insinuates that the vacationer himself has put the wallet there.

Clever thing – no stolen goods on the body – you wouldn’t have been able to prove anything to “the thief” if you had called the police.
